There was standing room only at the opening breakfast at CBA LIVE 2013 where the VantageScore 3.0 model was officially introduced to the consumer lending community.
VantageScore Solutions president and CEO Barrett Burns opened the proceedings by quoting Abraham Lincoln:
“The best way to predict your future is to create it.”
The line grabbed the audience’s attention and from there Barrett Burns and Sarah Davies, senior vice president of Product Management, Analytics and Research at VantageScore Solutions, walked attendees through the new model’s unique construction and predictive strength.
The new VantageScore brand was also unveiled at CBA LIVE. Conference attendees couldn’t miss the new logo, which was prominently on display on seatback covers in the general session, as well as in the center of the exhibit hall at VantageScore Solutions’ beverage bar.
Those not in attendance most assuredly learned of the new model through a steady stream of mainstream, industry and trade media. Judging by the industry’s reaction, the new model and brand has struck a chord with lenders of all sizes and types, as well as with regulators and other industry observers and participants.
