Quizzle.com offers free VantageScore 3.0 scores, custom info from ReasonCode.org

Date: June 24, 2020

Quizzle.com, the credit report and credit education site, is offering VantageScore 3.0 credit scores to users every six months as part of its free basic service.

In addition, Quizzle’s free service also integrates information from VantageScore Solutions’ educational website, ReasonCode.org, which lets consumers search for specific reason codes to get deeper explanations of what they mean, and provides tips for addressing credit behaviors that may hurt their credit scores.

Quizzle.com is giving users the value-added information powered by ReasonCode.org on a customized basis. Each Quizzle.com credit score report will provide a three-digit VantageScore Credit score, the top four reason codes that explain why their particular score wasn’t higher along with deeper explanations and relevant tips for addressing the behaviors that drive those reason codes. This gives Quizzle.com users individualized roadmaps for improving their credit scores.

“Many folks don’t realize how important their credit health is until they try and buy a home, finance the purchase of an automobile or simply apply for their first credit card,” said Todd Albery, chief executive officer of Quizzle.com. “Quizzle’s offering of the VantageScore model will give people a simple and accurate tool to check their credit score before jumping into a large purchase.”

“Studies have shown that consumers who have had recent access to their credit score know more about the ins-and-outs of credit scoring, and thus they can become better managers of their credit profiles,” said Barrett Burns, president and CEO of VantageScore Solutions. “By providing more than one million users with access to their VantageScore 3.0 credit score and the deep explanations and tips around reason codes, Quizzle.com is tackling the critical issues facing consumers who want to take charge of their financial futures.”

Quizzle.com joins a growing group of consumer-education websites that offer free VantageScore credit scores. Others include Credit.com, CreditKarma.com, and ReadyforZero.com. Quizzle.com is the first company to offer its customers VantageScore 3.0 reason code information from ReasonCode.org, but VantageScore welcomes opportunities to share the information with others.
